haunted by that one face
cravings and sexual longings that stop you sleeping
placing you in a place
somewhere between sheer ecstasy and weeping

flames from a wanton fire
wrapped in a mesh of needful and carnal yearning
devilment in desire
spitting out grasping darts at a soul that's burning

where every trace of sanity's forsaken
and every sense is numb and overtaken
