in the melancholy moments of rejection when a bitterness pervades the air
when susceptible confusion feeds suggestible illusion
when the searching mind is thirsty, when the soul is parched
then speaks the voice of pure temptation, couched in seductive intonation
"come leave the world and all that binds you !
come seek affection in the place of loneliness..."

in the nadir of misfortunes, when beset upon and hounded by the trials of Job
when confounded desperation feeling fettered in frustration
seeks a guarantee and panacea gainst world ills
then cries a soul salvation seeking, and can be heard temptation speaking
"come leave the world and all that binds you !
come seek affection in the place of loneliness..."
