an indifferent wind spits rain at the window
the raindrops are spattered and trickling down
they cling and descend, just dripping to nowhere

looking at life, everything's wrong

lost in thin air, going nowhere
dreams I dreamed but dream no more
decomposing silently on the floor

now a lifetime is passed, and the rain is still falling
I can't answer the question - did the sun ever shine ?
for my memory's washed out and that rain is relentless
