my clothes might be in pieces

because the treasure that I possess is beyond compare

strange, how many people with money in large amounts
seem so poor regarding what really counts

it isn't complicated
nor yet sophisticated
I simply know that I'm never poor all because you care
there might be holes in my jeans
but am I poor ? by no means
