sycamore wings twirling around
gigg-l-ing as they spin to the ground
dandelion seeds feel the wind puff
and they chuckle and they chortle as it tickles their fluff
everything looks so pretty !

cheery sunbeams on a sun-dial
telling the time to me with a smile
leaves of grass lightly brushing my skin
and they prickle and they tickle and they give me a grin
everything looks so pretty !

is it because I love you ?

the birds up in the trees whistle a happy tune
right from the early morning to the late afternoon
it seems that every creature finds it opportune
to sing its heart out loud, to vocalise and croon

wait just a tick ! listen now ! can I hear caterpillars humming
joined in a choir in sweet harmony ?

pigeons in pairs, turtle-doves too
bristle neck-feathers as they bill and coo
wigg-l-ing worms, merry with mirth
pulling funny faces as they pop their heads from the earth
everything looks so pretty !
