Destiny

every single product of creation serves a purpose in the mystic universal whole
each in its special place within totality
every single molecule is primed in its position to fulfil its goal
it is its destiny to chain in harmony

each thing its charted course must run
and follow fate where'er it lead
and find that place to call its home

even as the stars emit electromagnetism from their pulsing cosmic heart
it is their destiny to give light as they do

each bird, each fish, each flower, each leaf
must fly, must swim, must bloom, must fall,
must come to rest where it belongs

every single constellation of a trillionfold in orbit floats in serendipity
and knows its raison d'être and stays a course that's true
