Each And Everywhere

a statuette, a figurine, when lacking light cannot be seen
its shape and form cannot be known when in the dark and all alone

when I looked up into the firmament, my eyes beheld it bleak and bare
that tent above me was devoid of any stars and when I hunted for the moon, it wasn't there
my life was groping round in gloominess as dark as any night can be
lonely and destitute for loveliness of light until that moment when yours came to me

with you all the dark was gone, and through all my vacantness light shone

my life was just invisibility, nothing to show what I lived for
but with eyes closed I felt your lovelight shine on me and gently opening my eyes I saw

now each and everywhere, much love and tender feeling
oh each and everywhere, much love

love shone and became a friend, love shone and to loneliness an end

now everything is bright and beautiful, now everything is crystal clear
the moon and sun and stars above are shining bright, for that's the way you make my world appear
